Where does the money to run Lily the Pink Ministries CIC come from?
Lily the Pink Ministries CIC
has not been funded by any
outside
source. No grants have been received so it has been left to Susan and
her family to fund it. Susan is even working as a volunteer while
trying to build up the courses.
How can you help?
We have tried to behave like a business and trade what we have with others. This means that you can help by doing one or more of the following things.- Buy one of
the books that Susan has written. The first
one
she did was Surviving a Household Emergency. There are plans for more.
Go to the buy
from us page.
- Buy one of the other things
on the buy
from us
page. These currently include a book and DVD on depression.
- Follow the links on the
Google adverts on each page. Each
time someone follows a link we earn a few pennies. of course it takes a
lot of clicks to pay for these courses but every penny helps. Remember
though that we only have limited control over what adverts are
placed in this space. If you see something that
you object to please let us know and we will do something about it.
- Follow the links on each
page to go to the Buy At page. This is a
doorway to many popular online merchants. When you follow our link to
buy from them
we will earn commission. You won't have to pay anymore than you would
otherwise (of course there are special offers form time to time as well
so you don't miss out). We will be given a small percentage of what you
spend.
- Follow the link to the
Folksy web site and see what there is
available there for you to buy.
Why don't we just charge for the courses?
We intend doing this in the future. These courses are currently in beta testing but once this period is over a charge will be made. We will then be inviting other people to contribute courses and they will also make a financial contribution to the running of this web site.-
